The Broadmoor has announced that long-time employee Dennis Lesko will retire from his position as vice president of marketing. Lesko will be replaced by John Rovie, who has worked with The Broadmoor since 2012. In his new position, Rovie will oversee the resort’s marking department and wilderness experiences.
“Dennis has done an incredible job for The Broadmoor,” said Mr. Bartolin, president and CEO of The Broadmoor. “He was fundamental in building The Broadmoor’s business to some of its greatest successes. I asked Dennis to rejoin us in 2011, as I felt our sales and marketing department needed stability and leadership. At the same time, I asked him to prepare John Rovie to replace him when he retired. Dennis has done a terrific job on both fronts.”
Pepper Dombroski will also join the marketing team, replacing Rovie as director of sales. Dombroski has worked for several other properties in the area, including Snake River Lodge & Spa, and returns to the Rocky Mountain region after spending eight years as director of sales at the Grand Wailea in Maui.
“In the area of resort sales, Pepper is a superstar,” said Bartolin. “Everywhere she has been she has achieved record performances. We are indeed grateful to have Pepper join us at The Broadmoor. She will be a great addition here and in the Colorado Springs community.”
