The London West Hollywood has made two key appointments to its catering department: Summer Stearns as director of private events and Alison Montgomery as private events manager. Both are part of the hotel team and work with its onsite restaurants Gordon Ramsay at the London West Hollywood and the Boxwood Cafe. Stearns will focus on high-profile events and corporate meetings, while Montgomery will concentrate on weddings and social events.
Stearns segues to the London from Patina Restaurant Group where, as senior catering sales manager, she focused on corporate, nonprofit and social events and, for two years executed the largest annual catered event in North America: the Emmy Awards’ Governor’s Ball for 3,700 guests.
Montgomery comes to the London from the Viceroy Hotel Group in Santa Monica, Calif. She spent nearly three years as event and group sales manager, responsible for corporate meetings, social parties, large-scale events and photo/film shoots, originally joining the Viceroy as conference services manager in February 2007.
