Vacation.com announced the launch of AirPro, an exclusive new air program, at its 13th International Conference & Trade Show, held June 19-23 at Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

“AirPro gives our member agents the ability to make money selling air,” said Vacation.com president John Lovell. “Vacation.com agents have been requesting a program like this and, thanks to our new connections within Travel Leaders Group, we are now able to provide this fantastic revenue-generating opportunity.”

AirPro will be divided into three groups, depending on the agency’s business mix: AirPro Prime, AirPro Direct and AirPro Excel. All groups include enhanced commissions — up to 11 percent — with a wide range of airlines. Currently, more than 50 airlines are onboard with AirPro, with each group connected to a unique set of carriers. More airlines are expected to join the program within the next few months.

AirPro will feature a robust booking engine that gives member agents the ability to search and book all airline-published airfares using a comparison matrix, select seat assignments and view booking class and fare basis codes prior to selecting the flights.

“This is a complete air solution featuring both domestic and international carriers, exclusively available to Vacation.com members. By paying commissions twice monthly, our members will immediately feel the positive financial impact of this new revenue stream,” said Lovell.

AirPro will launch with select members this summer and will include all interested members later in the fall.
