Virgin Airlines’ American offspring, San Francisco-based Virgin America, will forever be known as the “Airline to the Angels.”

In order to kick off the Victoria’s Secret 2007 Fashion Show, the airline flew Victoria’s Secret supermodels, including Marisa Miller, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Selita Ebanks, Miranda Kerr and Izabel Goulart, from New York to Los Angeles on the sexy new addition to Virgin America’s brand-new fleet, the Runway Angel.

Together the airline and the lingerie retailer will also host the first ever in-flight supermodel pajama party on a commercial flight from New York to Los Angeles on Nov. 28.

Members of Virgin America’s EleVAte loyalty program were offered a first shot at buying tickets for this one-of-a-kind event and three lucky sweepstakes winners will also get to fly with the supermodels and check out the latest Victoria’s Secret fashions at 35,000 feet.

Virgin America’s brand-new planes offer mood lighting, custom-designed leather seats, plugs for laptops and other electronic gear, an in-flight entertainment system with satellite TV, 25 movies, videogames, a music library of 3,000 MP3s, the ability to order food or chat with other guests via the nine-inch video touch-screen and a host of other features aimed at bringing the fun back to flying.
