William Buckley to Lead Sales and Marketing at Two Downtown L.A. Properties

The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles and the JW Marriott Los Angeles at L.A. Live announced the appointment of William Buckley as director of sales and marketing for the two downtown Los Angeles properties. Drawing on more than 25 years of experience, Buckley is excited about the opportunity to further develop Los Angeles and L.A. Live as a premier travel and meetings destination in Southern California.

“The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles and the JW Marriott Los Angeles at L.A. Live are at the forefront of the continued renaissance of downtown L.A.,” said Buckley. “The strategic location of these properties, coupled with the diverse amenities, from a luxury spa to award-winning food and beverage outlets, are integral in continuing to grow the business and visibility for both hotels.”

Prior to joining The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles and the JW Marriot at L.A. Live, Buckley worked in the lodging industry with Marriott, as well as in the field of electronic gaming at the full-service advertising agency Ayzenberg Group, in the entertainment industry at the public relations agency Rogers & Cowan and in destination sales and marketing at LA Inc.
