The Details

AmaWaterways launched a completely redesigned website in February, drawing on innovative technology and based on extensive research and feedback from agents and guests.

“As AmaWaterways focuses on helping travel agents become experts on selling river cruise vacations, our new website provides up-to-date information, stunning graphics and easy navigation,” said founder Rudi Schreiner. “We designed every aspect around the warm and welcoming culture of Ama Waterways and we will continue to deliver top-notch service on and off line.”

New features include detailed maps and full itineraries that outline each day’s shore excursions; downloadable and printable full color e-brochures for each destination throughout Europe, Russia, Vietnam and Cambodia, and new voyages to Portugal and Africa; information and tips on preparing for an Ama experience including dining guides, air travel booking assistance, shore excursions and stateroom information.

Additional upcoming features include extensive photo and video galleries for each ship and city visited, including Lisbon, Paris, Amsterdam, Prague, Barcelona, Madrid, Zurich, Cape Town and Hanoi, among others.
