In Brief
Sita World Tours Receives Green Globe Certification
Sita World Tours received a Green Globe Certification award for its new policies directed at the preservation of non-renewable resources. The new policies were due, in large part, to the leadership of Roger Mahal, Sita’s chairman and CEO and an active member of Tourism Cares, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving iconic travel experiences for future generations.

“We are very proud to have this certification issued to us,” said Mahal. “It is an important testament to what is good for our guests, staff and the many countries we operate in.”

Ya’lla Tours USA Reduces Prices on Morocco Trips
A more favorable exchange rate between the U.S. dollar and the Moroccan dirham has enabled tour operator Ya’lla Tours USA to reduce the price of its Moroccan vacation packages by 10 percent. Ya’lla offers seven different Moroccan programs, ranging from seven to 12 days in length. All programs are land-only and include the services of private guides, accommodations, private transfers, select meals, site entrance fees and hotel taxes and service fees.

“We are always looking for ways to benefit the customers without having to sacrifice our vacation packages in terms of quality,” said Ronen Paldi, president of Ya’lla Tours USA. “We monitor when a more favorable exchange rate comes about to all of our destinations.” (800-644-1595;
