Hawaiian Hospitality at Four Seasons Lanai

Clients are invited to spend time with island residents who are keenly tuned in to all things Lanai

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is already well-known for rolling out the red carpet for its guests. Now, at its two properties on Lanai, it's injecting that spirit of geniality with a strong sense of place as it launches the Hookipa (hospitality) cultural program. The new, ongoing series of interactive cultural classes has been created expressly for resort guests by Lanai's kupuna (elders) with the goal of enriching and inspiring island visitors. Clients are invited to spend time with island residents who are keenly tuned in to all things Lanai and who enjoy sharing their cultural knowledge, oral history, tradition and art. Program highlights include ukulele lessons, coconut weaving, lei making and "talk story" sessions. The complimentary program takes place at Four Seasons' Manele Bay and Lodge at Koele properties.
