Celebrating its inaugural season in Hawaii, American Safari Cruises is offering incentives for guests and their agents for the inter-island cruises onboard the 36-passenger Safari Explorer. The cruise line awards guests a $150 per person travel credit for reservations made through July 29, and each booking gives the agent an entry in the line’s Aug. 3 drawing for a free cruise.
Sailing weeklong or 10-night active adventure itineraries between Maui and the Big Island from November through April, the all-inclusive Safari Explorer visits Molokai, Lanai and Molokini. Guests experience traditional Hawaiian culture with opportunities to meet the locals on their land and in their homes. The all-American crew includes Hawaii residents, especially captains and expedition leaders/naturalists who have personal knowledge of the islands.
Agents who have completed American Safari’s Yachtalist training can take an additional $200 off regular fam rates on Hawaii cruises, bringing the cost to $795 for the agent and $995 for a companion. To join the Yachtalist Club, agents must participate in three Web presentations and pass an exam. (www.americansafaricruisescom
