Abercrombie and Kent gives travel agents more to sell in 2012

Tour operator Abercrombie and Kent recently announced new itineraries to its portfolio in Asia for 2012.

New for next year is Angkor Wat and the Road to Mandalay, an escorted journey that combines Cambodia and Myanmar and includes a trip along the Irrawaddy River. The 12-day itinerary begins at $5,995 per person.

Also new is Signature Myanmar, which includes a hot-air balloon trip over thousands of golden stupas (dome-shaped monuments) in Bagan. The 13-day Signature Myanmar trip starts at $4,620 per person.

Another new itinerary is Signature Vietnam. This 10-day trip takes in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hue and an overnight in Ha Long Bay. Pricing begins at $4,250 per person.

Finally, Signature China is also new for 2012. This 14-day itinerary includes visits to Beijing, Shanghai and villages along the Yulong River. Prices run from $5,795 per person. www.abercrombiekent.com
