St. Regis Debuts Shenzhen Property

New St. Regis Shenzhen opened in December By: Janeen Christoff

The St. Regis Shenzhen opened last month as the tallest St. Regis property. The hotel marks the brand’s fourth hotel opening in Asia in 2011.

“The opening of The St. Regis Shenzhen represents a significant moment for St. Regis as the brand continues to grow globally in destinations designed for the new generation of affluent travelers,” said Paul James, global brand leader for St. Regis and The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts.

Designed by famed architect Sir Terry Farrell, The St. Regis Shenzhen — in the Kingkey 100 building — is one of the defining silhouettes of the city’s skyline, occupying the top 28 floors of the 100-story building. The hotel features 257 guestrooms and 40 suites with spectacular views of the city. Additionally, there is a sprawling Iridium Spa on property as well as a collection of world-class restaurants and lounges. The property will also be the first hotel in Shenzhen to offer the signature St. Regis Butler Service to all of its guests. www.stregis.com/shenzhen
