The Yangtze Essence, a new program offered by Victoria Cruises in partnership with Ritz Tours, gives visitors a chance to experience some of the great sights of China on a 10-night excursion, which includes a three-night Yangtze River cruise onboard the five-star Victoria Anna.
Beginning in Beijing with visits to historic sites — such as the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City — the program will then transport guests to Xian, where they will see the famous Terra-Cotta Warriors that were unearthed in 1974. From Xian, guests will board the Victoria Anna for a cruise from Chongqing to Yichang. The Executive Suite accommodations they will enjoy include white glove service, complimentary Wi-Fi access, a la carte dining privileges, reserved seating for evening entertainment and more. The cruise will take them to such sites as the “Ghost City” of Fengdu and the misty Three Gorges. The program finishes in Shanghai with a trip to The Bund, the city’s famous waterfront boulevard, and a Chinese acrobatic performance.
The cost of the Yangtze Essence begins at $1,999 per person (based on double occupancy) and includes all intra-China transportation, land and cruise accommodations, meals and excursions on the itinerary, English-speaking guides and all applicable taxes and fees. www.ritztours.com
