Hot New Menu at RumFire

New appetizers are on the menu at RumFire By: Marty Wentzel

Taste buds are tingling thanks to some zesty menu tweaks at RumFire Poipu Beach, Sheraton Kauai’s signature restaurant. Featuring Hawaiian-rooted cuisine with a global twist, the restaurant recently unveiled such impressive appetizers as fresh fish poke served with taro chips and avocado, and entrees such as a rare-crusted ahi with a rum-pineapple sweet chili relish. Check out the new flatbreads baked in RumFire’s brick oven, including the Hawaiian with Portuguese sausage, pineapple and mozzarella; and the Kauai Shrimp with sauteed onions, mozzarella and basil pesto. Highlighting the energized cocktail menu is the Flaming Mai Tai, served with a smoldering flame. Diners can savor it all while enjoying 180-degree oceanfront views from all 240 seats.
