What goes bump in the night? This October, it’s the nation’s longest-running haunted house at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. Celebrating 50 terrifying years, the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis will mark its “ghoulden” anniversary with “Time Warp: 50 Years of Fear Haunted House” from Oct. 10 to 31 (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).
Guided by Dr. Timestein, families will experience five “deadcades” of fear and pop culture through music, movies and television. In addition to the haunted house, “Time Warp” will also offer special events such as the Black Hat Bash, a family Halloween party, and Xtreme Scream, a late-night extreme haunt experience (recommended for older ghosts and goblins). Haunted House tickets are available beginning Sept. 15. www.childrensmuseum.org
