From Bourbon Street and the French Quarter to the spectacle that is Mardi Gras, New Orleans is not short on exciting things to see and do. But, what many travelers may not know, is that it’s also home to one of the country’s largest and most beautiful urban parks.

The 1,300-acre New Orleans City Park includes walking trails, botanical gardens, lakes for boating and fishing and a golf course. For families, the park also offers a historic antique carousel, train rides and Storyland.

It would be impossible see everything in one day, but a new Family Fun Pass gives your clients visiting New Orleans seven days to experience all the family-friendly activities and attractions in the park. The cost for the Pass is $30 for adults and $25 for children and includes admission to many of the park’s attractions. www.neworleanscitypark.com
