Travelers on Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic’s Costa Rica and The Panama Canal expedition will be treated to a complimentary pre- or post-tour Panama City extension. The one-night, two-day extension allows guests to be among the first to experience the Museum of Biodiversity and the new Canal up close and free of charge. The special offer is available on five departures: Nov. 16, 23 and 30, and Dec. 7 and 14 onboard the National Geographic Sea Lion.
The complimentary extension stops at the Biomuseo, which is scheduled to have a soft opening in October and officially launch in 2014. From there, guests will be taken to the newly completed Observation Center at the Panama Canal’s expanded third lock, which will still be in its construction phase.
For bookings made by Aug. 31, Lindblad is also offering free roundtrip air from Miami on all Costa Rica and Panama itineraries. Travelers interested in taking the extension on a different departure can add it for the remainder of the season for $450 per person. www.expeditions.com
