The Details

Journese has released its first-ever Costa Rica Experiences brochure, featuring 35 private excursions, adventures, resort enhancements and commissionable activities to upgrade a Costa Rica vacation. Selections range from adventure activities to romantic resort extras and locally-inspired spa treatments.

“Costa Rica is an activity-rich destination, and travelers must experience it on- and off-property to fully appreciate the beauty and diversity it offers,” said Journese vice president and managing director Kimberly Daley.

Sample experiences include activities in Arenal, such as an Arenal Volcano Hike & Hot Springs excursion, Horseback Riding to La Fortuna Waterfall and a Sky Tram & Sky Trek adventure. In Guanacaste, options range from a Palo Verde Jungle Cruise to the Hang Ten & Play Nine surf and golf lessons at the Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo. Monteverde offers opportunities to take a Sky Walk Excursion and visit the Carara Biological Reserve. Visit the Manuel Antonio National Park with a professional guide, or look out for wildlife on the Mangrove Damas Island by Kayak tour. In San Jose, visitors can opt for a guided City Exploration tour or hit the Pacuare River for an 18-mile whitewater rafting journey.

In addition, new resort enhancement options include the Love Spell Spa Package or a Romantic Gourmet Dinner for Two at Arenal Kioro Suites & Spa; an Ecological Paradise Massage at the Hilton Papagayo Costa Rica Resort & Spa; a Full Spa Replenishment experience at The Westin Golf Resort & Spa, Playa Conchal; and more.

All activities include private transfers and most also include private guides.
