AMResorts Breaks Ground on Two Puerto Vallarta Properties

The $150 million dollar project is scheduled to open in summer 2010

Groundbreaking ceremony for Secrets Puerto Vallarta and Now Amber Puerto Vallarta

AMResorts, provider of marketing, sales and brand management services for Zoetry Wellness & Spa Resorts, Secrets Resorts & Spas, Dreams Resorts & Spas and Now Resorts & Spas, celebrated the placing of the first cornerstone of a new 602-room resort complex in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

The $150 million project introduces Secrets Puerto Vallarta and Now Amber Puerto Vallarta Resorts & Spas to the popular travel destination. The resorts are scheduled to open in the summer of 2012.

“AMResorts recognizes the tremendous opportunity we have by developing Puerto Vallarta’s first two new construction hotels in almost 10 years,” said AMResorts president Alex Zozaya. “We are excited to continue the success that our Dreams Resorts & Spas brand has had in this destination, while also creating a stimulus to the local economy and offering new options to our discerning clients.”
