A native of Denmark, Blaksteen comes to the Makena Beach & Golf Resort with 15 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. Most recently, he served as assistant food and beverage director for the Hilton Waikoloa Village on Hawaii’s Big Island and was responsible for a food and beverage program generating $40 million in annual revenue with 13 full-service outlets. He originally joined the Big Island property as the banquet beverage manager.
