Racing Awareness

Encino, Calif.-based Plaza Travel, along with sister agency Let’s Travel of Santa Monica, Calif., participated in the 16th annual Entertainment Industry Foundation Revlon Run/Walk for Women in Los Angeles earlier this month.

Encino, Calif.-based Plaza Travel, along with sister agency Let’s Travel of Santa Monica, Calif., participated in the 16th annual Entertainment Industry Foundation Revlon Run/Walk for Women in Los Angeles earlier this month. The run/walk, which raises funds to help research and fight all forms of women’s cancer, attracted more than 55,000 participants.

“I don’t know anyone that has not been affected in some way by all cancers — it gives us great pleasure to know that by being there, we helped raise much-needed money and awareness for women’s cancer research, counseling and other resources,” race day team leader Sandra Sparks, a travel consultant for Plaza Travel, said.
