The Ritz-Carlton Lake Las Vegas

Falling victim to a weak economy and lagging group business, The Ritz-Carlton Lake Las Vegas will close its doors on May 2. According to the property’s Web site, the resort will take reservations until its closing date and will remain fully operational through that time.

The AAA Five-Diamond award-winning hotel, located 17 miles from the Las Vegas Strip, is a Tuscan-inspired, lakeside retreat as well as a top-rated luxury resort. Now, it will also be known as the first Ritz-Carlton property to ever close.

Currently, the resort is contacting guests with reservations after May 2 to assist with rebooking at other hotels.
