Food expert Steve Carlson of Food Smackdown is directing traffic to some of his top stops for a quick bite.

Burger bars and food trucks reign supreme. Bachi Burger in Southeast Las Vegas brings a fusion of Asian and American flavors to the table with classic burgers topped with Asian inspired ingredients. Grilled and glazed patties are served with sauteed shitake, enoki and eryngi mushrooms and caramelized onions. Clients can also order boba milk, teas or imported craft beers to accompany their unique burgers.

On the food truck front, Fukuburger Food Truck also offers burgers with an Asian twist. The truck prepares its patties in a Japanese-inspired style and has built its reputation by encouraging patrons to congregate, relax and eat around the truck.

Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino is home to the Earl of Sandwich, known for its hot sandwiches, speedy service and casual setting.

First Food & Bar in The Palazzo caught Carlson’s attention with its wings. Chef Sam DeMarco is popularizing lollipop Buffalo wings at the 10,000-square-foot restaurant with lounge style seating. The restaurant offers brunch, lunch, dinner and late-night menus.
