From Oct. 19-23, advisor-owned co-op Ensemble Travel Group held its annual conference at Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego. Travel advisor members, suppliers and media participated in breakout sessions, networking events, a trade show and more during the four-day event. Robert Herjavec of television series “Shark Tank” gave the keynote address.
Beginning in 2017, Ensemble members will have access to the University of Ensemble educational platform, in addition to marketing tools Monarch and Navigate. Other announcements included a new partnership with the American Society of Travel Agents that will offer a discounted membership rate to new and renewing members.
The consortium has seen growth this year, adding 16 preferred partners, 100 new hotels and 76 new agency members. Next year’s conference will take place at Hyatt Regency Dallas from Oct. 16-20.
