The Stafford London by Kempinski has announced that Christine Hodder will be taking over as general manager of its hotel on St. James’s Place.
“I am looking forward to working with a European luxury company which allows me to use my knowledge and experience to increase the business to the hotel,” said Hodder. “The Stafford has a long history and I have spent many happy times at this wonderful property. There are few hotels that have the same longevity and history as The Stafford.”
Hodder assumes her new position with more than three decades’ experience in hospitality. Her cosmopolitan career as an hotelier has taken her from London to New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Miami and China, and to such companies as Regent Hotels, Hyatt, Mandarin Oriental and Four Seasons. Most recently, Hodder served as general manager for Aman at the Summer Palace in Beijing. She is also a member of the Institute of Marketing
