A record-shattering number of travel professionals participated in the sixth annual CruiseWorld event from Nov. 11-13 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The three-day educational event, hosted by Travel Weekly, was attended by more than 1,300 travel professionals and included workshops, general session programming and an exhibitor showcase. Nearly 2,000 prescheduled one-on-one appointments were completed by participants of the Select Travel Advisor Recognition Program.
Participating suppliers and advisors were given the chance to network and create beneficial business relationships, as well as develop their product knowledge and portfolios.
In addition to more than 45 panel discussions, workshops and training programs, CruiseWorld hosted 14 ship inspections, offered by Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, Carnival Cruise Lines, Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean International and Disney Cruise Lines.
