The Oahu Visitors Bureau (OVB) has hired Kainoa Daines for the position of director of sales. In his new role, Daines is responsible for global sales initiatives, travel trade curriculum development and assisting with marketing efforts.
“Having Kainoa as part of the OVB team will help to ensure that we are promoting our island and its culture in an authentic way,” said Les Enderton, executive director of the OVB. “He offers a wealth of experience in working to perpetuate and promote the Hawaiian culture, and we are excited to tap into his knowledge and incorporate his ideas into our marketing initiatives.”
