Ensemble Travel Group Introduces New Program in the U.S.

Apr 02, 2015

Ensemble Travel Group completed its inaugural series of “Ensemble Extraordinary!” trainings in the U.S. in March. The consortium’s program is designed to help its members improve sales of high-margin, niche products. More than 220 travel professionals and 20 preferred supplier partners participated in the event, which held three comprehensive afternoon training sessions in San Francisco, Garden Grove, Calif., and Jersey City, N.J.

Each session was introduced by Kim Specht, national training manager for Ensemble, who presented on Ensemble tools and programs for the experiential-adventure market. The event also featured luncheon keynote speaker Patricia Schultz, travel journalist and author of “1,000 Places to See Before You Die.”

“Through our Ensemble Extraordinary! event, our members were able to gain access to global boutique partners on a face-to-face basis,” said Cristie Newell, director of training and development for North America at Ensemble Travel Group, who first developed the training event for Ensemble members in Canada in 2012. “Several suppliers have already reported a flurry of inquiries and quote requests from members who attended [the event].”
