Fairmont Dallas has appointed Dan McGowan as general manager. McGowan, who has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, joined Fairmont Chateau Whistler in 1992, where he held various positions, including director of operations. McGowan was promoted to hotel manager at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver and was later promoted to general manager of Fairmont Vancouver Airport before taking on the role of general manager at Fairmont Palliser in Calgary.
