In an effort to build brand and site camaraderie, Hyatt staffers from the New York region participated in the Tri-State Tough Mudder competition. The 12-mile obstacle course featured muddy cage crawls, tire carrying, a mud pit that delivered electric shocks and a run through fire.
Hyatt Tough Mudder teams from the area, including a group from the new Hyatt Times Square, raised $10,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization that supports veterans, survivors of September 11 and their families.
The Hyatt Times Square is set to open Dec. 3 in New York City’s Theater District.
