Jana Atlas, vice president of global conferences and events for Frosch Travel, received the Innovation Award from the Northern California chapter of Professional Convention Management Association in October. The award is given to a creative problem solver who has conceived a new solution to remedy event or industry-related challenges. It was presented to Atlas for developing an attendee compliance system that seamlessly and directly ties into a program’s digital registration site, allowing Frosch to obtain attendees’ digital signatures on an iPad tablet and archive all applicable information for its clients.
“Innovation is a mindset,” Atlas says, adding that she is always looking for new and exciting ways to be creative, efficient and innovative.
