Journese Honors Top-Producing Travel Advisors

Nov 05, 2014

Journese, the luxury brand of Pleasant Holidays, held its annual Curators Celebration from Oct. 17 to 20 at The Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui. Honoring 25 luxury travel advisors, the event kicked off with a welcome cocktail reception, where the advisors were greeted by “keikis” (children) who provided leis and performed a hula dance, followed by a dinner catered by the on-site restaurant, Ko.

To further educate travel advisors, a focus group discussed fine travel, affluent travelers’ evolving expectations and how Journese can best serve travel advisors. Other highlights included complimentary spa treatments, a tour of a lavender farm, a site inspection of the Montage Kapalua Bay resort and an exclusive dinner at Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort.

“This was an incredible event to recognize Journese’s top travel advisors’ exceptional sales in 2014 and exchange ideas on best practices in travel as well as ways we can further differentiate ourselves in the industry,” said Kimberly Daley, senior vice president of sales strategy for Journese. “We greatly appreciate all our advisors’ partnership and thank them in celebrating what Journese travelers experience the world over, especially in the Aloha Spirit of the Hawaiian Islands, celebrated at one of our key partners, The Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui’s incredible resort.”
