From Dec. 9-12, Karisma Hotels & Resorts held its 8th Annual Gourmet Inclusive Vacation Consultant (GIVC) Awards and Sales & Marketing Forum at El Dorado Royale, A Spa Resort, by Karisma in Mexico’s Riviera Maya. Some 450 consultants and guests attended the annual event, which honors the industry’s top-performing travel professionals.
Awards included Top Growth GIVC by region; Top Selling Home-Based Agent in the U.S. and Canada; Top Gourmet Inclusive Wedding Consultants; the PISCIS Award, new this year, which represents partnership, innovation, support, creativity, integrity and service; and the Hall of Fame award — the top honor — which was given to Nancy Finn, a Diamond Level 5 agent.
“This year’s milestones were made possible with the unwavering commitment by our loyal travel agent partners,” said Mandy Chomat, vice president of sales and marketing for Karisma. “The GIVC Awards provided an opportunity to celebrate and show our thanks.”
