Playa Hotels & Resorts has promoted Doug Knapp to vice president of revenue and yield management and Howard Tanenbaum to vice president of group and retail sales. Both joined Playa as global directors in their respective fields in 2014 when Playa was in the process of launching the Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva luxury all-inclusive resorts.
“Both Doug and Howard have made exceptional contributions and have shown great leadership as we continue our monumental growth and expand and execute on our mission of delivering Service from the Heart,” said Kevin Froemming, executive vice president and chief marketing officer for Playa Resorts Management.
