On April 17, Plaza Travel once again participated in the annual Victory for Victims 5K Walk/Run in Encino, Calif., to benefit nearby Northridge Hospital’s Center for Assault Treatment Services, which provides immediate 24/7 response for victims of sexual abuse and assault.
A team of 21 Plaza Travel employees, family and friends walked or ran the course, ultimately raising $3,151. Donations included two $250 Delta Air Lines credits, two nights at Hotel del Coronado on Coronado Island with breakfast for two, one night at La Costa Resort in Carlsbad with self-parking, $100 gift certificates from Hertz, one night at Belmond El Encanto in Santa Barbara, two nights at W Los Angeles – West Beverly Hills and brunch for four at Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes.
This is the 14th annual walk/run event and the Encino-based travel management company’s sixth consecutive time participating in it.
