In conjunction with the annual Pow Wow trade show, Disney Destinations held a special media event at The Walt Disney Family Museum, located in San Francisco. Walt Disney Parks & Resorts hosted international journalists at this exclusive, private event where guests were treated to a surprise guest.
Diane Disney Miller, daughter of Walt Disney, spoke about the background of the museum and shared memories of growing up as one of Walt’s daughters. She also noted that the original concept for Disneyland had come about during their family outings to a local park on Sunday afternoons.
