With a new airport clubhouse and a new, second daily flight out of Los Angeles International Airport onboard its new 787 Dreamliner, Virgin Atlantic is continuing to show the West Coast and business travelers some love. On Feb. 18, the airline group hosted its new “Business Is an Adventure Entrepreneur Series” at Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles to help support the entrepreneurial community’s growth.
The event, hosted in part with WeWork and General Assembly, featured a panel discussion, moderated by entrepreneur Carol Roth, with L.A. entrepreneurs Miguel McKelvey, co-founder of WeWork; Cassey Ho, founder of Blogilates; Sean Rad, founder of Tinder; and Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group, who addressed how businesses can thrive in today’s global market.
“We feel a kinship with startups and entrepreneurs and wanted to bring the community together to commingle ideas,” said Chris Rossi, senior vice president of North America for Virgin Atlantic.
