Terri Flood, founder and owner of Escapes Unlimited Inc. in Phoenix, recently had a chance to take a romantic escape of her own when she and her husband participated in a ReTie the Knot ceremony at Sandals Whitehouse European Village & Spa in Jamaica.
The couple, married for 16 years, renewed their vows through the new ReTie the Knot program offered by Sandals Resorts. Participants in the program receive, amongst other benefits, pre-travel resort stay and renewal ceremony planning as well as musical accompaniment, bouquet and boutonniere, a celebration cake, a reception with sparkling wine and hors d'oeuvres, a commemorative certificate and gift and a celebration dinner.
If visitors wish to celebrate their vow renewal with family and friends, Sandals Resorts is also offering special promotions for groups of five rooms or more who sign up for ReTie the Knot. For five to nine rooms booked, the resort will upgrade the renewed couple’s room and offer signature ReTie the Knot cocktails at the reception. For 10 to 19 rooms, the resort will provide several more perks including a private pre-ReTie the Knot celebration dinner for the group, manicure and pedicure for the wife and a 35-minute massage for the husband.
