Regent Hotels and Resorts has appointed Cai Shuo as vice president of development for China. Shuo will be overseeing the expansion of the Regent brand in the emerging Chinese market.
“Offering an intimate experience with local flavor is one of our key platforms of operation,” said Ralf Ohletz, president of Regent. “This will be reflected by incorporating the history and traditions of the Chinese culture into the service and design of our future hotels.”
Shuo joins the brand’s effort to return to its Asian ownership roots with 27 years of hospitality experience in hotel brands in China.
