To better help U.S. agents sell South Africa to their clients, South African Tourism recently organized a 10-day fam trip to the country for more than 80 American travel agents. Travelers visited the capital city of Cape Town, the port city of Durban and a game reserve. They also spent two days at INDABA, Africa’s top travel and tourism exhibition. A formal dinner and cocktail reception at The Maslow Hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg marked the end of the trip. Miss U.S.A. and Miss South Africa attended the event and greeted guests.
