Nearly 500 Tauck employees, partners and family members convened at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in the Canadian Rockies from Feb. 6 through 9 for the company’s 90th anniversary. The event celebrated Tauck’s history as a tour operator, from its founding in 1925 to today. The anniversary also highlighted the company’s commitment to its ideals and customer satisfaction.
“We’re proud to reach this milestone, and we are optimistic about our future in creating experiences that enhance our guests’ lives,” said Dan Mahar, CEO of Tauck. “By any measure, Tauck’s success is admirable. Only 12 percent of family-owned businesses survive to the third generation, and our third-generation family company isn’t just surviving — it’s absolutely thriving.”
