The Out NYC, New York City’s first gay hotel and entertainment complex, has announced that David Lopez will serve as its general manager. The 105-room boutique property is scheduled to open in early 2012.
“As the city’s first hotel built from the ground up to cater to gay travelers, The Out NYC is a concept whose time has come,” said Lopez. “I can’t wait to share my passion for the property with our staff, locals and guests.”
Lopez brings more than 25 years of hotel operation, brand development and marketing experience to his new position.
“We are thrilled to have someone of David’s experience and enthusiasm at the helm of The Out NYC,” said Ian Reisner, managing partner, Parkview Developers. “We are certain that he is the perfect choice to lead us as we become a fantastic travel and entertainment hub for gay tourists and New Yorkers alike.”
