Host travel agency Nexion celebrated outstanding travel agents at its annual CoNexicon conference on Sept. 19. The event, which took place at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld in Orlando, Fla., announced more award winners than ever before in the following categories: Circle of Excellence (top-producing agents who met or surpassed goals for selling cruise and tour vacations while using Nexion’s supplier partners), MillionAir (those who made more than $1 million in airline sales during the previous year) and Ambassador (those who displayed exemplary support to Nexion agents and business development). It was also the first time a triple-award winner was honored: Steve Lincoln of Lincoln Travel Inc in Bridgewater, Va. Top-tier award winners earned a three-night, all-inclusive retreat at the Fiesta Americana Condesa resort in Cancun, courtesy of Nexion, Funjet Vacations and Grupo Posadas.
“Our agents are the pulse of Nexion, and we want nothing more than to see them continue to raise the bar on how fast and how much they can grow their businesses,” said Jackie Friedman, president of Nexion.
