Tourism New Zealand has appointed Bjoern Spreitzer as
general manager of the Americas and Europe. Spreitzer previously held the role
of international business events manager with the organization in Auckland, New
Zealand, and will now be based in Los Angeles.
“It’s an exciting time to be joining the Western markets team, with visitor
vacation numbers out of the U.S. currently enjoying double-digit growth,”
Spreitzer said. “The market here is thriving, and with the announcement of Air
New Zealand’s fifth nonstop gateway from North America in December, we look
forward to more opportunities to market New Zealand to North Americans as the
ideal vacation destination.”
