Travel Planners International (TPI) has welcomed new faces and promoted existing staff as it expands its management team.
Scott Radesi, formerly business development manager for The Mark Travel Corporation, has joined TPI as director of business development. He will oversee preferred supplier partnerships, as well as implement annual marketing plans to promote partners.
Michelle Threadgill has been promoted to partner relations manager, where she will draw on her former experience doing business-to-business sales and relationship building for TPI by developing annual marketing plans for the company’s existing and preferred partners.
Salone England, a veteran director of agent relations for TPI, has been promoted to director of business travel. In this position, she will negotiate and manage corporate and business travel relationships with airlines, GDS providers, hotels and car rental companies.
“This move to both promote from within as well as to hire an industry veteran creates an even stronger team as we gear up for another great year in 2016,” said Ken Gagliano, president of TPI.
