ASTA named Ann van Leeuwen as the vice president of the National Association of Career Travel Agents (NACTA). Van Leeuwen will start her position in January 2012 and answer to ASTA CEO Tony Gonchar.
“Ann’s extensive background in sales and marketing and all areas of business development, coupled with her industry knowledge, make her an ideal fit for this position,” said Gonchar. “She is an exceptionally strong manager under whose leadership NACTA will continue to grow and prosper.”
Van Leeuwen began her career in 1988 as a group sales agent at Holland America Line, before working at Virtuoso.
