Signature Travel Network recently drew some 2,200 attendees for its 2016 Sales Meeting and Trade Show, held Dec. 9-11 at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. During the 60th Anniversary Gala Dinner, Vicki L. Freed, senior vice president of sales, trade support and service for Royal Caribbean International, received the third annual Michelle Morgan Leadership Award, which honors the memory and work of Michelle Morgan, Signature’s former president who passed away in 2013. Recipients of the award embody characteristics that include adaptiveness, passion, excellent communication skills, humbleness and being proactive, as well as the ability to empower others, overcome adversity and work toward what is right.
“It is an absolute honor to receive the Michelle Morgan Leadership Award,” Freed said. “Having been lucky enough to know Michelle as a dear friend and travel professional who changed the industry, I’m beyond humbled and thankful for our valued travel partners at Signature Travel Network.”
