Capella Corporate vice president of room operations, John Volponi, has been appointed as Capella Pedregal’s new general manager.
Volponi has 24 years of experience in hotel management and comes to the position with four years of managerial experience at Capella Hotels and Resorts. In addition to serving at corporate headquarters, he also previously held the position of general manager at Capella Telluride in Colorado.
“John Volponi was selected for the prestigious role of Capella Pedregal’s general manager due to his innovation and commitment to the development of the Capella brand,” said Robert Warman, president and COO, Capella Hotel Group. “Volponi is a tireless team player.
