Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, a luxury hotel set to open in early 2017, has announced the appointment of Luc Delafosse as managing director for the brand’s debut in Beverly Hills, Calif. Delafosse has more than 30 years of experience working with international luxury hospitality brands. He most recently served as general manager and managing director of Hotel de Crillon in Paris.
In the newly created role, Delafosse will oversee the hotel’s day-to-day operations, as well as all aspects of the property’s creative direction, unprecedented luxury experience and personal concierge service.
“Our goal is to provide our guests with the Waldorf experience — creating a new sense of luxury and an unforgettable stay that goes beyond the guest expectation,” Delafosse said.
