After years with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Sean Verney has been named general manager of The Westin New York Times Square, an 873-room luxury hotel in Manhattan. Verney will oversee day-to-day operations, as well as lobby and guestroom redesign projects.
“Sean’s tenure within the Starwood family, coupled with his tremendous New York City experience, will certainly make him a great addition to our executive team,” said Vera Manoukian, area managing director for Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
Before taking his new assignment, Verney served in various positions at
Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers and the Sheraton Manhattan.
