travel42 Professional Ship Review
The 1,248-passenger Costa neoClassica
, which was constructed in Italy, debuted in 1999. The ship was re-launched in 2013 as one of the fleet's "neo" ships, which cater more to adults and focus on longer port stays and small-group excursions. The ship sails mostly Mediterranean cruises and some Middle Eastern excursions. Owned by Carnival Corp., Costa is Europe's largest cruise line with a fleet of more than a dozen ships ranging in size from 25,000 to well over 100,000 tons.
